These results are promising, although, don’t get overly optimistic. Public Policy Polling just tweeted, “Elizabeth Warren is likely to be the next Senator from Massachusetts. Our final poll finds her leading Scott Brown 52-46.”

The polls have been up and down, for both candidates but more of them leaning toward Ms. Warren. Sen. Scott Brown’s image is taking a hit, while he attempted to disparage Warren over her heredity.

Warren has amassed a huge majority of Democratic support, in what was typically a left leaning state, until Brown took the Senate seat, winning over Martha Coakley, a Democrat. In hindsight, Coakley really did not seem to put much into her campaign, apparently at ease thinking that a Kennedy seat would be a simple task to keep for a Democrat.

PPP noted in a previous article:

More and more Democrats who may like Brown are shifting to Warren because they don’t like the prospect of a GOP controlled Senate.

Let’s hope this is the case with the House and Senate.

Vote Wisely.
